sport massage is a specialized form of massage therapy that focuses on the treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries and the enhancement of athletic performance.
It is designed to prepare the body for physical activity, support optimal performance, and aid in recovery after exertion. Sports massage incorporates a variety of techniques tailored to the athlete's specific sport, condition, and individual needs.
1. Improve Circulation - Enhance
blood and lymph flow to promote the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to muscles and to remove metabolic
waste.
2. Reduce Muscle Tension and Soreness - Help relax tight muscles and alleviate post-exercise soreness (DOMS: Delayed Onset
Muscle Soreness).
3. Prevent and Treat Injuries - Identify and address muscular imbalances, adhesions (knots), and strains before they develop into more serious issues.
4. Increase Flexibility and Range of Motion - Loosen connective tissue and improve muscle elasticity, enhancing overall mobility.
after a brief consultation I use modern and traditional techhniques as triggerpoint therapy , facial stretching, and deep musscle work
